Shorewood Duplexes | Cannon Beach, OR

Shorewood is an affordable housing project in the City of Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast that was constructed in 1997. Shorewood consists of 17 separate buildings, with 11 floor plans, to provide 34 duplex units of affordable housing. The site is only 3-1/2 acres, yet it contained over 100 coastal spruce trees. Great effort was taken to preserve the trees through the site design. A wide range of experts were consulted during the site development, including: wetland, biology, environmental, hydrology, arborist, soils, civil, and land use attorneys that helped us to resolve the complex environmental problems encountered.
