Quail Park of West Seattle Memory Care Residences | WA

The Quail Park of West Seattle Memory Care Residence provides 48 units with a capacity for 66 beds in the heart of SW Seattle but is also nestled into a quiet residential community. Resident uses are located on the private, upper three floors of the four-story residence with administrative and service spaces contained within the first level. A 2nd-story roof-top terrace offers a landscaped patio complete with lounge seating, an outdoor barbecue, and wandering path. Office space and the entry lobby open up to a plaza adjoining the streetscape, with bistro seating to encourage interaction among the community. Neighbors of the adjacent 7-story apartment building will also enjoy the view of a green roof on the highest rooftop of the Memory Care Residence.

Centered between the unit wings is a large common area providing ample space for living and dining to include a theater and activity space. The dining area overlooks the landscaped terrace with balconies on the upper two floors. The units are all organized around neighborhoods that are decorated with a distinct familiar theme to rekindle memories from days gone by and provide residents with landmarks to assist in way-finding along the corridors.

The project was awarded LEED Silver.
