Completed in the summer of 2014, Fernley Estates is a senior living community with a memory care wing that strives to provide a homelike, comfortable environment. A large, exposed wood truss spans the vaulted and spacious common dining and living area, which are flanked on each side by large landscaped courtyards that provide a variety of outdoor spaces. Additional communal areas, such as a bistro, salon, and theater are dispersed throughout the building to encourage socialization and a sense of community. The memory care wing includes eight paired units that surround a common area filled with a light and airy dining area and kitchenette, vaulted living room, and dedicated activity lounge. A large outdoor garden offers both a wandering path and a shaded seating area for the residents.
